2018 Workshop on Partial Differential Equations

OBJECTIVES

The aim of this workshop is to share and discuss some of the latest trends and developments in fields of kinetic theory and fluid mechanics. This workshop will further strengthen collaboration of Sun Yat-sen University with universities in Mainland China and Hong Kong SAR, such as Tsinghua University, City University of Hong Kong, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Wuhan University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Wuhan Institute of Physics and Mathematics etc. We believe that the workshop will play an important role to stimulate further research on applied mathematics, and will provide a great opportunity to meet colleagues from different subjects. This workshop will act as a vehicle to stimulate and prompt research in these important fields of mathematics.
