报告摘要 Abstract:

In this talk, I will introduce a periodic discrete model to study the dynamics of Wolbachia infection frequency in mosquito populations where infected mosquitoes are impulsively released. This model has three notable characteristics: First, it covers all relevant existing models since 1959 as special cases. Second, it develops with the development of experiments and mosquito factories. And finally, it presents us with a number of unresolved problems.

报告人简介：庾建设，曾任广东省广州市政协副主席、党组副书记，广州大学校长、党委书记。现为广州大学应用数学研究中心主任。教授，博士生导师，国家杰出青年基金获得者，国家有突出贡献的中青年专家，全国教育系统劳动模范。主要从事微分方程动力系统、差分方程及生物数学模型的理论与应用研究，在《Nature》、《SIAM J. Math. Anal.》、《SIAM J.Appl.Math.》、《J.Math. Biol.》、《J.Diff.Equa.》、《Math. Biosciences》、《Bull.Math.Biol.》等重要期刊上发表了一系列学术论文，是多个SCI期刊的编委。
