Abstract：This paper is considered with the Bogdanov-Takens bifurcation of cubic Kukles systems. It is shown that there exists a cusp and a weak focus. Moreover, we prove if the order of the cusp is two, then the highest order of the weak focus is five; if the order of the cusp is three, then highest order of the weak is one. Based on this results, we can provide the upper bounder for the number of limit cycles that the cubic Kukles system can have bifurcating from the cusp and the weak focus simultaneously.
