Abstract：In this talk, we study algebraic periodic orbits of degree 2 for linear type centers of linear plus cubic homogeneous polynomial differential systems. There is only one algebraic periodic orbits is an algebraic limit cycle of degree 2, as well as the unique limit cycle of the system. Meanwhile, we use the theory of generalized rotating vector fields to prove our main result. In the end, to support our results, some examples are presented.
