Abstract：In this talk, we will introduce some progress about the existence of global-in-time weak solution to the Shigesada-Kawasaki-Teramoto

cross-diffusion system under a new translation condition on the coefficients of nonsymmetric diffusion matrices, which can not be covered by those conditions assumed in previous works. Furthermore, the detailed balance condition can be viewed as a special case of this new condition.
