Geometry of stratifications in good reductions of Shimura varieties

报告摘要 Abstract:

To study the special fiber of a Shimura variety, it is sometimes helpful to first decompose it into smaller pieces. One way to obtain interesting decompositions is to use geometric or arithmetic structures attached to, say for example, abelian varieties in char p. We will explain basic properties of various decompositions (also called stratifications) constructed this way, with special emphasis on the so called Ekedahl-Oort stratification.

报告人简介：

张超于2003年-2007年在青岛大学数学与应用数学（基地班）学习，之后在徐克舰老师的引荐下考取首都师范大学硕士研究生，师从李克正老师。2010年获欧盟Erasmus Mundus ALGANT-DOC奖学金，赴荷兰莱顿大学与意大利米兰大学攻读博士学位，导师为Bas Edixhoven（莱顿） 和 Fabrizio Andreatta（米兰），并于2013年获得博士学位。博士毕业后先后在清华大学丘成桐数学中心与台湾“中央研究院”做博士后。2019年12月入职东南大学。现为东南大学丘成桐数学中心副研究员。张超副研究员荣获加拿大数学会2020年度G. de B. Robinson奖，论文在Canadian Journal of Mathematics, Duke Math. Journal等著名期刊上发表。
