This course will introduce motivations to study the Laplacian, the Laplacian in Euclidean spaces with examples, the Laplacian on Riemannian manifolds with examples and basic properties of eigenvalues.

报告人简介：

王丽涵，美国加州州立大学长滩分校助理教授。主要研究方向为微分几何与几何分析，特别是辛流形的整体不变量理论以及与特征值相关的问题。在JDG，TAMS等著名期刊发表多篇学术论文。
