报告摘要 Abstract:

The mock theta function $\sigma^*(q)$ appeared in Ramanujan's Lost Notebook and was first systematically studied by Andrews, Dyson and Hickerson. Its coefficients can be interpreted in terms of signed counting of certain gapfree partitions into odd parts. Quite recently, Chern connected  $\sigma^*(q)$ with a relatively new partition statistic called the maximal excludant. Consequently this leads to a new partition theoretical interpretation of $\sigma^*(q)$, wherein a "local" gapfree condition plays a key role. In this talk, we aim to explain the relation between the above two interpretations bijectively. The talk is based on joint work with Shane Chern and Dazhao Tang.

报告人简介：

傅士硕，重庆大学研究员，博士生导师。2011年博士毕业于宾夕法尼亚州立大学，2011-2012在韩国科学技术院（KAIST）从事博士后研究，2012年以“百人计划”特聘研究员入职重庆大学，曾于2015年访问韩国国立数学研究所（NIMS），2016年访问法国里昂第一大学等。近期研究兴趣主要为组合数学中的整数分拆理论、排列统计量同分布问题以及组合序列的伽马非负性等。已在J. Combin. Theory Ser. A, Adv. Appl. Math., SIAM Disc. Math., European J. Combin., Ramanujan J., J. Number Theory 等杂志发表论文30余篇，获批国家自然科学基金两项。
