报告摘要 Abstract:
This talk aims to advertise a pattern/phenomenon that has emerged in many different mathematical areas during the past decades but is not currently well-understood via an example: Bott--Samelson rings for Coxeter groups. This is the product of a project of the PACE program (a research experience for undergraduates) at Peking University, joint with Lin Sun (Fudan University), Shihao Wang (Tsinghua University) and Haoyu Zhu (Sun Yat-sen University). The talk is designed to be accessible to a wide audience.
报告人简介：
桂弢，北京大学北京国际数学研究中心博士后。本科毕业于四川大学数学学院，博士毕业于中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院，师从席南华院士。主要研究方向是组合（组合几何，组合霍奇理论），代数（李理论，表示论），已在J. Algebra等著名杂志发表论文。
