报告摘要 Abstract:
In this talk, we introduce and explore the concept of entropy flexibility in both discrete-time and continuous-time dynamical systems. This property, which strengthens Katok’s intermediate entropy property,requires that the system’s entropy varies “continuously” from both the measurable and topological viewpoints. Entropy flexibility suggests a stronger form of Katok’s entropy conjecture. We will present a range of systems that exhibit this property. This is joint work with Alexander Arbieto and Piotr Oprocha.

Elias Ferraz Rego is a promising young Brazilian mathematician with an impressive research record, including over fourteen publications in prestigious journals, including journals such as Mathematische Annalen, Chaos, Solitons & Fractals, and Moscow Mathematical Journal. His academic trajectory includes: Postdoctoral Researcher at SUSTech (2021-2023), Senior Research Scholar at SUSTech (2023–2024), and Current a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at AGH University of Science and Technology in Poland.
