报告摘要 Abstract:
Discrete conformal structures on polyhedral surfaces are discrete analogues of smooth conformal structures on Riemann surfaces, assigning discrete metrics defined on the edges via scalar functions defined on the vertices. In this talk, we will give a brief survey of the discrete conformal structures on closed surface first. Then we will introduce our recent work on discrete conformal structures on surfaces with boundary. Specially, we will provide an axiomatic approach to define the discrete conformal structures on surfaces with boundary and give a classification of these discrete conformal structures. We will also mention the relationships of these discrete conformal structures and 3-dim hyperbolic geometry. The rigidity and existence of the discrete conformal structures will also be discussed. This talk is partially based on joint works with Chao Zheng.

徐旭，国家级人才计划获得者，武汉大学数学科学学院教授，博士生导师。研究领域为几何分析。在JDG, Adv. Math., IMRN,Trans. AMS, CVPDE 等高水平杂志发表三十余篇论文。
