报告摘要 Abstract:

Anosov Geodesic Flows have been extensively studied along the past decades. When the geodesic flow lives in a surface, it is possible to define a flow along the unstable foliation, which we call the horocycle flow. In this talk we present a proof of ergodicity of the Haar measure for the horocycle flow. We focus on the constant and negative case where the geodesic and horocycle flow are closed related to an algebraic structure, and briefly comment generalizations to other contexts. If time permits, we intend to comment the unique ergodicity of the   horocycle flow.

报告人简介：

Jonatas Marinho Santos de Araujo is a PhD student at the National Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics (IMPA), Brazil, working in the field of dynamical systems. He is currently a visiting scholar at the School of Mathematics (Zhuhai), Sun Yat-sen University, where she is completing a six-month academic research collaboration with theDynamical Systems Group.
