报告摘要 Abstract: 

I will first introduce a problem on the structure of eigenvalues of the {\it rotating $p$-Laplacian}, proposed by Man\'asevich and Mawhin 20 years ago and unsolved yet.Then I will present some recent progress, results and a further conjecture, all of which are expressed using singular integrals. Finally I will suggest some possible attempts toward the final solution of the conjecture.
